Phase II
The Open Annotation Collaboration Phase II (January 2011 through June 2012) will:
- directly engage humanities scholars and involve existing collections of digital content in annotating that content; and
- demonstrate and further refine the framework developed in phase I of the project in order to produce a suitable-for-production Open Annotation data model and specifications.
- Open Annotation Phase II Workshop (March 24-25, 2011)
- Annotation demonstration experiments in progress:
- Annotation supporting collaborative development of scholarly editions
- Annotation of digitized medieval manuscripts
- Annotation of subscription streaming video content
- Annotation of digital emblematica
- Requests for proposals (RFP) [CLOSED] for four additional annotation demonstrations experiments.
