This document provides a reference source for different classes of Annotation for use within the Open Annotation Frameowork.
Development of new Annotation classes can take place on the Open Annotation Wiki, or within external communities. To have a class added to the list, please send a mail to the Open Annotation Google Group.
This specification uses the following namespaces and prefixes to indicate those namespaces:

This document will list the known subclasses of oac:Annotation.
Currently only two are known, Reply and DataAnnotation, and they are defined in the main Open Annotation Guidelines document.
